Posing nude in the ESPN Body Issue is one thing, playing nude in a golf tournament quite another. There is no indication whatsoever that Pettersen will ever play in a golf tournament nude, however, there are other golfers that cherish the opportunity.

If you’ve always wanted to play in a nude golf tournament and have yearned to visit New Zealand, here’s your chance. The following is information from the producers of the annual Nude Golf International tournament held last month (and each year) at Wairau Valley Golf Club in New Zealand.

“Challenging conditions met twenty intrepid nude golfers for the annual Nude Golf International at the scenic Wairau Valley Golf Course on Sunday 22nd February. Attending the event were two British golfing couples back in New Zealand for the second time and combining their passions for golf and naturism.”

“Madeleine, one of our visitors from France, biked around the course during the day taking photos.”

“The date has been set for the next annual tournament on Sunday 21st February 2016 with early registrations received from Australia, Canada and United Kingdom.”

• “Now you can experience the exhilaration of playing 100% Raw in the Nude Golf International at the scenic Wairau Valley Golf Course in Marlborough. Enter a team for the event or as an individual to make up a four on the day.

“Green fees are included and lunch will be provided on the day. Members of the Wairau Valley Golf Club will have the bar open. Register online and contact Kay or Brian at Wai-natur Naturist Park to reserve accommodation if required. Minimum three nights for on-site vans and guest rooms, with plenty of powered and non-powered campsites available.
Contact Kay now with your registration for this season’s event on Sunday 21st February 2016 or telephone +64 35722681 or book online
Players $55.00 (includes green fees and lunch)
Caddies $10.00
Non-players not staying at Wai-natur $15.00

Before signing up, you might weigh the insight by writers Jarod Kintz, Kelly Williams Brown, and Amy Cohen:

“Too much nudity is a turn off. Especially if all that flesh is on one person.”

“Clothes are expensive. Save money and become a nudist. Remember: Fashions may change, but naked is always in style.”
― Jarod Kintz

“People aren’t good at processing important things when they’re naked”
― Kelly Williams Brown

“When I was growing up, in our house nudity was defined as the period of time between the shower and your towel.”
― Amy Cohen
