U.S. OPEN PREDICTIONS
Q:      Guys, please give us your U.S. Open picks for later this week.
SHANE BATTIER: You know what, I’m going to go almost chalk — I think this guy is due for a breakthrough — he’s played great. He’ll come in as an underdog. Rory (McIlroy) is going to cast a large shadow over the U.S. Open. I’m going to go with Henrik Stenson.
VINNY DEL NEGRO: I’m hoping my guy Phil Mickelson, my lefty buddy, can break through and finally get that U.S. Open championship. Chambers Bay is obviously a newer course. It’s going to be little bit tricky, but I’m hoping the conditions favor him, and I hope Phil finally gets that U.S. Open he almost had a few years back.
SGT. MAJOR ROD GORMAN: I’ll go out on a long shot. I kind of favor Brooks Koepka.
