The Shots You Need to Win

The most important category of golf shots includes first and foremost the driver. If you don’t drive the ball well, you can’t set yourself up to shoot the scores that you need to win.

If I’m driving the ball well, everything else in my game will be fine. Driving the ball well takes the pressure off forcing the next shots. If you’re driving the ball poorly, your short game has to be magnificent. Coming to the end of tournaments, you want to have your long game in shape so the pressure is off your short game.
