Chest behind the ball.
Carol Hogan
So many of the poor shots I see with the driver are the result of an improper set-up. When addressing the ball with a driver (ball on a tee), the ball should be toward the front of your stance.
In addition, you should feel an equal distribution of weight between the right and left foot therefore allowing the chest to be behind the ball.
Leaning on the left foot at address shifts the upper body (chest) over the left foot and therefore not behind the ball.
With the proper set-up (ball forward, equal weight distribution & chest behind the ball), you will improve your tee shots.
