The entire field has finished the Third Round of the 2015 ANA INSPIRATION.

Top 10 on the LEADERBOARD: FINAL AFTER 3 ROUNDS

1 – SEI YOUNG KIM -10

2- STACY LEWIS -7

T3- ARIYA JUTANUGARN -6

T3- BRITTANY LINCICOME -6

T3- MORGAN PRESSEL -6

T6- SHANSHAN FENG -5

T6- MORIYA JUTANUGARN -5

T6- JENNY SHIN -5

T9- ANNA NORDQVIST -4

T9- MI HYANG LEE -4

Kim is now 10-under for the tournament (3-under for the day) and has a 3-stroke lead.

Lewis, just minutes ago tied for the lead, falls from the lead, 3-strokes behind.  She shoots 68 for the day. Lewis missed putt for birdie on 18 and goes into the clubhouse 7-under for the tournament (T2), having to make up, at least, 3-strokes tomorrow for a chance to win.

BREAKING NEWS: Lewis states at press conference right after her third round that a 3-stroke deficit is not impossible to overcome at all considering the difficult course conditions. She says she’s been behind by more that 3-strokes in the past on Day 3 and have gone on to win the tournament.

Ariya Jutanugarn is in the clubhouse with a 6-under 66 for the day and is in 3rd place tied with Brittany Lincicome and Morgan Pressel.

Brittany Lincicome finishes 6-under for the tournament  (2-under for the day) and is tied for 3rd.

The greens are being tough. Birdies have become few and far between. The elusive “Indio” is hard to find. A local knowledge is all putts break toward the city of Indio. But it’s questionable that this local strategy is accurate all the time.

Shanshan Feng is in the clubhouse shooting 70 for the day; she’s now tied for 6th; 5-under par for the tournament.

Morgan Pressel is in the clubhouse shooting Even-Par for the day; 5-under for the tournament. She’s tied for 3rd.

Defending champion Lexi Thompson has her work cut out for her if she is to repeat. She’ll have to shoot the round of her life. Going into tomorrow’s final round, she’s 6-strokes off the lead (4-under). If she has ever had a 65 or 64 in her, that’s the probable number she’ll have to shoot to have a chance to win tomorrow.

Phenom Lydia Ko shoots 71-73-74 — 218 and finds herself +2 for the tournament (T48). She’ll have to wait another day to win the ANA INSPIRATION.

Low amateur after 3 rounds of play is HALEY MOORE (+4 for the tournament so far).

BREAKING NEWS: From SEI YOUNG KIM’s press conference minutes ago: Kim says she is having a lot of fun and is amazed in the most positive way that she is playing in a tournament that she has watched and admired since she was a little kid. When asked about how difficult the course is playing, she says accuracy is essential in order to stay out of the high rough; due to the many doglegs, fading and drawing the ball is essential; and due to the difficult pin placements, accurate irons to the greens is very important.

Does this young, rookie have the inner fire to stay on top tomorrow and win here first major? Stay tuned.
